Inference, Serialization and Product Tracking

Inference is a term for a method of identifying the contents of a shipping container to confirm its contents without actually opening the container. Using inference, the time consuming and costly effort of opening each carton to scan individual item codes and serial numbers would be essentially eliminated, reducing cost and significantly reducing the risk of compromising of any cold chain product shipments.
